MIL-SPEC Barrier Tubing is typically used when the exact length of the parts being packaged either may be variable or unknown for all parts that may require MIL-SPEC Packaging.
In this case it is sometimes a better idea to purchase tubing that comes in 100yard lengths on a roll to any width you specify. The tubing is sealed on both sides( edges). You simply pull off the length you need for the particular part , seal one end, load the part and then seal the remaining end. You then have a quickly made barrier bag and a perfectly packaged item. Barrier tubing is available in all MILITARY SPECS printed or non-printed as you require.
The MIL-SPECS that we manufacture tubing from are:
MIL-DTL 117 (Formerly MIL-B-117), using all of the current barrier materials including:
MILPRF121 Type I (Formerly MIL-B-121 Type I, Grade A, Class I),
MILPRF 121 Type II (Formerly MIL-B-121 Type II , Grade A, Class I),
MILPRF 131 Type I, (Formerly MILB131 Class I ),
MILPRF 131 Type I Class II, (Formerly MILB131 Class II),
MILPRF131 Type I Class III (Formerly MILB131 Class III),
MILPRF22191 Type I (Formerly MILB22191 Type I),
MILPRF22191 Type II (Formerly MIL-B-22191 Type II),
