VCI Bags

Royco Packaging sells a variety of Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor bags in both stock and custom configurations including:

• LDPE (Polyethylene) film in 3mil, 4mil, or 6mil thickness
• MIL-PRF-22019 QPL barrier materials
• Multi-metal protection
• Heat sealable or zip recloseable

VCI bags protect metal parts from rust and corrosion during storage and transportation. They contain corrosion inhibiting compounds integrally blended into the material, not superficially applied. The VCI compounds volatilize inside the packaging environment, protecting metals with an invisible barrier that prevents moisture, salt, oxygen, dirt, and other corrosion-causing materials from depositing directly on the surface and causing damage.

VCI bags are ideal for storing and shipping metal products such as tools, machinery, automotive parts, and electronics. They are easy to use, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective. VCI bags will extend the shelf life of metal parts without the need for messy oil or grease, and allow metal parts to be ready for use without cleaning.
